That’s the “money shot” for sure! Gotta’ love that “Z-squared” paint pealing on the door and those exposed radial tire wires as well!

Maybe you can find the Meng tree that has the parts on ebay?
Splendid idea - except that I already thought of it. No sprues for that kit right now. I’ve checked online photos for those smoke grenade launchers. None are detailed enough. Oddly, the best reference for them is Meng’s instruction sheet for that kit. I won’t be doing the smoke canisters as they’re not on the Tigr I’m doing. It’s strange. Zvezda does give you those canisters but not the launchers. Meng gives you the launchers but not the canisters.
Even though I don’t need them, just for fun I’m going to check some old T-34 kits I have and see if the canisters from those are the correct size.
I think Live Resin also does those canisters as well.
I have Hasegawa´s ZW-100 loader kit here. I wonder if it strong enough to “steal” a BMP-3?
It should be. Smaller vehicles than that haul passenger jets around the airport.
i came across this image and i will leave it to all you experts out there to tell me what kit, hekmets, uniform and weapons are in use here.
I saw early Tiger, not M version.
So you can do early also, they are in Ukraine too.
Makes sense as I’ve seen lots of old BMP-1s
I’m thinking of a Special Police (KORD Operators) Dio now, ambushing a couple of Gaz Tigers. These guys even though a Police unit have been not only in the suburbs fighting but out bush also on the frontline….
would these Russian helmets be of any use on Ukrainian figures in this conflict
Big No Klaus….enemy! Definitely no Ukrainian seen wearing one. Use Western helmets, live resin uncovered MICH Helmets or live resin ops core/ maritime helmets (similar to Ukraine temp design helmets). Also Modern British helmets with covers are a very close call to Ukraine Kaska helmets with cover which most of the infantry are wearing.
Klaus, have a look at Red Zebra also as he sells a modern Brit helmets set, you could scrape off part of the helmet cam retention straps and would be close to kaska infantry helmets. Also he has a nice surrendering Rusky too…!
I have the Red Zebra figure, it’s very nice…but I will be replacing the head for one with a tank helmet.
I’ve been eating cold pizza for breakfast now over the last 6 decades. As Tony said, They’re Grreaaaaaaaaaaaat!
