The purpose of this topic is to share the work of one of my best friends that unfortunately lost the battle to lung cancer pretty recently. He was a big IDF fan and built mainly IDF related models and Leopards. We spent lots of time together and one’s work influenced the other’s. His completed works were split between his best friends, I got all the IDF related ones. There will be a total of 18 builds shared in this post.
I will miss you dear John and I hope you are in a better place now. 
The first model is a Tiran 4 from Takom with Friul tracks and other aftermarket extras.

Thank you for sharing your buddy’s model build(s) Nikos, it’s gratifying to know, as a military enthusiast and scale model hobbyist, that our legacy is more than hours on end, usually in solitude, building plastic models that very few will appreciate, we are a brotherhood and depend on one another for support in our endeavors and camaraderie among each other.

Very sorry for your loss Nikos. I lost my best friend to cancer six years ago and I still mourn him. He was a Master Modeler also. I hope that when I pass, one of my modeling buddies will showcase all of my builds like this for me.

Thank you for posting these builds Nikos, and so sorry for your loss. He was a very talented modeller it would seem. These are some of the best IDF models I’ve seen. They are certainly an inspiration to me, and great that you have them to preserve his memory.
