I’ve invited a mate of mine to join this - he’s an absolutely God-tier modeller and an unbelievable talent. I’ll let him introduce himself properly but suffice to say you guys should see some of his work. Holy cow.
I am almost as excited to see what he does with this GB as I am for my own entry.

In my opinion, all the Tiger battalion emblems look primitive. What about a drawing of a tiger face looking out from a German Cross, with a pair of Tiger tanks on top, facing away from each other, serving as the hanger? Maybe all done in silver and gold so it looks like an actual medal.

Greg, indeed! There’s way too many unbuild Tiger kits at my house!
I jumped the gun on the group build and slammed this one together last week, one minus one Tamiya Late Tiger 1 from that stack!
Realization that Tamiya Tiger kit is a one week build if kept simple means at least two more Tamiya Tiger’s ought to see the bench next year.
There’s a Takom mid next on the bench for this GB in few days!
@Damraska Doug, sort of buildin what you mentioned, I’ve always like this Tiger pin. Something along this line maybe

I am trying to find out more about the Sturmtiger in this pic:
Waldemar Trojca states that is the one that can be seen “parked” against a house in Oberembt, near Düren. It was shipped to the UK for inspection? I have some questions about it.
First of all, that has been captured by the Americans, but is it logical when the vehicle to be shipped to the UK if captured by the Americans?
Second there is something not correct with the camouflage on the lower front hull?
The bright stripe below the barrel on the upper photo is black on the lower one? The blotch on the starboard side seems similar however?

I’ll probably go with this as I already have an early and a mid on my shelf. Chances are I’ll end up building all the rest anyway once I start this one.

So, here is my entry. I probably will move slowly as I have to finish the Vietman 60 and the M113 campaigns also. To many campaings, I agree.
Atak makes the damaged Zimm for Otto C’s tank so I plan on Removing some zimm and replacing it with the damaged sections. Next Dec sounds so close…
A note to those building OTTO’s tank.
- In interviews he only remembered the tank in dunkelgelb. Photo’s suggest otherwise.
- Photo’s show no turret number on his turret sides during the photo shoot in the summer.
