Here you are Phil - I knew I’d seen one somewhere:

Going for 28 Euros - a veritable snip (tailoring pun intended!)

I am just about ready to start painting my Takom late production Tiger I. Tomorrow during my lunch break I have the tow cables to attach as well as the fenders. The exhausts and guards will be done separately so I can rust the exhausts themselves and then put them on before applying the second camo color. Some gaps to fill and a few other bits to adjust before the primer goes on. Also need to cut a suitable size base and get that ready.

That being said, the tracks are a chore and I really hate attaching the teeth. I am definitely going to look for the cheapest alternative that doesn’t require that step. Any good 3D/resin that fits Takom that won’t cost more than the kit itself?

I started the build on 1/24 and I think I can finish by weekend after next - my job has a 4-day weekend then. At this rate, I might toss in another 3-5 Tigers in.

I assume the Tiger I (P) and Bergepanzer Tiger (P) are allowed being the same chassis? That leaves me with 7 regular to choose from plus the Sturm. When I get on a roll I like to roll as far as the time allotted will let me.

With my RFM kit, I also need to attach the teeth separately. Not looking forward either. I will look how the first couple will go. If not satisfactory, I will have to resort to Friuls too. Hopefully the sprockets will fit.

The model I selected for this campaign has individual track teeth.

Attaching individual track teeth is definitely an exercise in patience. I cue up a good audio book, history documentary, or podcast, start working, and often complete a whole track run in a single long session.
