After giving the museum a visit during their “soft opening”; I decided to visit it again and got a view of their running track and some additional vehicles that were added to the collection.
This is the Pershing II missile system I posted earlier, but did not added photos of it. And a cameo from a Tomahawk Cruise Missile.
Some of the outdoor displays; interesting M3 Stuart in Japanese markings, along with an M3A1 (not shown), a PT-76 Soviet amphibious tank, an M41 Walker-Bulldog, an M7B1 Priest Self-Propelled gun, an M561 Gamma Goat (PTSD warning to all you REFORGER veterans), a trio of Range Rovers, two UKSF variants along with a standard issue Defender 110.
This one was a treat. First time I’ve ever seen a British A34 Comet Cruiser tank in full running condition. I can’t wait to see it in action.
Other vehicles on display are this old M42 Duster innneed of work, a very rare M56 Scorpion, this huge M75 APC and below…
A British FV-107 Scimitar Reconnaissance Vehicle. The old guy looking at the driver’s compartment is my modeling partner-in-crime, Monroe. (SSG, MP, K9 Handler, Retired). We buy scale models and we have very similar tastes. Call him my brother from another mother.
The collection is growing and it’s looking like a tanker enthusiast‘s dream.
