Ukrainian BMP-1TS

I finally finished assembling the Ukrainian BMP-1TS on a 1:35 scale. I used a conversion kit from SP Designs and many scratchbuilded parts. The assembly was enjoyable and interesting. Now it’s time to paint. I also have a separate video of how I made this model: https://youtu.be/3wxBRovI95Q

That is bad-ass looking Serhii- such a cool conversion. I like to see this sort of work prior to painting because it gives the viewer a chance to appreciate all the work that went into it.

Thanks. Yeah, I decided to show it unpainted to show the amount of work and time I invested in this project. Also, it’s somewhat ironic that this should be a “quick” build but it took almost 3 months to finish)

That is a fantastic build Serhii. Very neat job you’ve done there on a very unique and interesting vehicle. Can’t wait for paint !

Thanks. It was a “snowball” project: еvery time I thought that was all, I saw another interesting detail in the references and returned to my desk again)

I understand completely. Many of my projects do just that.

They’re never actually done. There’s always “one more thing”. The trick is learning when to stop yourself.

Yeah, I’m still learning this necessary skill.
