Unspeakable Horrors from Outer Space Paralyze the Living and Resurrect the Dead

Plan 9 From Outer Space Flying Saucer from Polar Lights. This model build was inspired by the group build Unidentified Flying Object.

The jet engine halves, alien pilot, stand arm, and stand base will was not used in the movie so this build will not include these either. Only three parts will be used. The clear canopy which will be painted silver and the upper and lower fuselage halves.

Only movie I have watched from wiki (open the plot drop-down on your phone) back in February this year. I watched Ed Wood afterwards and had a better appreciation for Plan 9.

@Tank_1812 @Harv Yes! A cult classic. I still have not seen Ed Wood yet. Maybe I should.

I love the way a science fiction subject is advertised as “Bizarrely authentic”! Based on what?!

This cockpit dome part was already pulled off the sprue and loose in the box. I was about to work on the bottom to smooth it out and fill that gap. Dry fitting reveals this to be unnecessary. That ring around the cockpit hides all that anyway :alien:
