Hello, I have been following along with this build as I’m slowly working on one of these halftracks as well. I did some test fitting of the rear door parts on my kit as well as a little googling and found out the parts D16 and D17 should sit proud of part D13. The bottom outer corners of the doors (D16 and D17) should rest over the rounded corners on the bottom opening on D13. It seems Das Werk molded the opening for the hinges on D13 too deep allowing the hinge portion on the doors (D16 and D17) to sink in too deep giving the impression the doors should be a flush fit. Your kit is looking great!
