The Collection will host an Open House and model show on 2 November. See website for location, etc. Show is Armor, facilitated by the Atlanta AMPS chapter and the staff of the Collection.

Show starts at 0900, and ends 1600. Here is information about the show.

The Collection is part of the CMH (Center for Military History) Museum Enterprise, and supports training of Armor, Cavalry, and Infantry troops, along with their maintainers. You can get up close and personal (NO CLIMBING however) with over 200 artifacts from the 1916 intervention in Mexico to the newest M1A2 SEP v4.

The show is free, and access requires ID at the gates.

I’ll be there w/ my T28, and working the back corner between it and several early Cold War artifacts.

They are generally available from many stores online. I bought mine at a store just outside the front gate of Fort Moore.

I’d need to get 1/9 on the crossed sabres as i have read to much about that unit in Vietnam and their hunter-killer squadrons.
