Varnish is frosting

I am working on my kv-1 and I go to apply AK real colors flat varnish and it starts frosting and turning into wisps of string. I am spraying it out of my neo Iwata, I shook the bottle up well and tried it about 2 or 3 more times but gave up because of the same result each time. I am doing this in a basement so maybe the humidity is screwing me over but honestly I have no idea, when I was using MSC I had no issues with frosting but I was outside spraying. Any help is appreciated and recommendations for good Matte/flat varnish is also welcome.

Try adjusting the air pressure, adding or decreasing the amount of thinner and try getting closer to the kit. I have the same problem and I have to fiddle with the above everytime to get it right. Have a practice kit to try this on before you commit.
