Washable acrylic paints

Hey there, does anyone have experience with AK Interactive’s Washable agent? Or more generally with washable paints, such as the Ammo Washable paints?

Since I don’t have an airbrush, using chipping fluid to show distressed paint is not an option for me. Based on a cursory online review, washable acrylic seem to have a lot of potential to show aging vehicles, but the choice of colors is rather limited. I was thus considering the washable agent to add to my paints, but I’m wondering how it behaves. Also, how does one make an acrylic washable, and can I do it myself at home?

Note: while the washable agent is not listed on AK’s website anymore, one can still find it online rather easily.

Haven’t heard about the product. You can use a rattle can and chipping fluid, no?

Yes, these washable products don’t seem common at all, but still, they make me curious based on what I’ve seen online.

Regarding rattle cans, I asked myself the same question and so recently started to look for acrylic spray cans, and found Molotow; It targets street artists originally, but they venture a bit in scale modeling. I’m going to buy a couple cans for this project i just started.

I have successfully used white tempura paint for whitewash. I can easily remove as much or as little as I like, with plain old water and nothing else.
I’ll be doing it on a Bradley again soon once the final parts arrive for it.
