What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

My other 3D printed experience is with the Ryefield Model’s 3D printed Pz III/IV tracks. They are nice but fiddly due the pins not snapping in place. They require a light touch of white glue or CA on the exterior pin head to hold in place. No clean up to speak of but took me several hours to assemble.

Just lightly dab flat white paint with a small section of sponge; some use natural sponge or just cut a piece of synthetic sponge from a kitchen scrub pad (don’t anger your wife in the process, I will not be held responsible).

Thanks. Don’t worry about this, though, I am still quite far from having a wife… But at least there isn’t anyone to accidentally anger!

Don’t feel bad; I’m 49 and still single. And I like it that way… I’m too dead set in my ways to change.

I’ve still got plenty of years ahead of me. Hopefully filled with models 'till the very end.

A bit more Haunebu IIb progress. :hammer_and_wrench:

Been cleaning up around the wheel bay areas. Added a couple of round Greeblies. The weights are there in order to guarantee twelve-wheel touch-down. :wheel:

Here’s a closer look at the Bomb Room components (dry-fit).

Thank’s for having a look!

This space in my model room used to hold a pile of over 100 new model kits. Yesterday I finally took a break from building, got off my ass, and carried all the kits down to aisle 2 of the Holy Stash. It took me twelve trips, so that was 48 sets of stairs. Today my back is screaming in pain, but I made progress. Next is breaking down the pile of shipping boxes. I have no idea why I let it get this bad. I need my model room back!

I can’t wait to see the finished saucer so that I can put all of these pieces into their greater context!

Thanks for sharing this Mike - looks like fun and I am somewhat envious of doing a project where you can use your imagination to supplement creativity.

I can sympathize with that thought …

I had 5 foot high stacks of kits with just a little path leading to my workbench and computer desk! Too much like that show “Hoarders”! I had to take action to regain my sanity.

Just don’t let my wife hear you!

I to am also surprised you let it get that bad. Very undisciplined of you, just start pushing.

You are right Ryan. Sometimes I get hyperfocused on a project and everything around me can go to sh!t and I don’t notice. Got to get back on track!

Matt, Kali Kat and I can be on the way to help a friend move kits & break boxes. Any coffee black works for me but Kali likes the half & half in her’s.

She’s also pretty handy with a barcode scanner she says if you want to do a cycle count. We did the great sort recently too.

Not in my workshop(SWMBO said she needs some spa), but in snowy Bansko:

Some Carro Veloce interior.
Plus some work on a photographer figure(AK Interactive set).I have a Hairy Heads set from Armor35 underway so will pick one for this figure.

Cheers,

Thank you Wade! It’s much appreciated and I know you would be making the drive if the situation were serious. It’s nice to have backup!

Went skiing in bansko, a few years back. Very slow cable cars to get up the hill.

Finally got the other PE part on. At last.

I’ll probably assemble the work stand tomorrow. And paint after that.
