What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

Thanks John!

Yeah, the engine is very Bronco-like (delicate) and builds nicely OOB.

I found some Italian C.V. 33/35 manuals online(Modellismo Più website) and the detailed cross-sections and pictures of the engine gave me enough understanding of what goes where and serves which purpose to superdetail it.

I’ve added a bit more engine detail (I have somehow missed) today, so Carro Veloce madness continues

Hope things are getting back to normal for you- looking forward to see updates on your builds!

:beers:

At one point I was so frustrated with this that I had a small can of the stinky gray primer overnighted from Amazon so I could start all over again. Or maybe snatch all the cab parts out of the other kit I have.

I’ve got some touch up to do. I knew at least the windshield halves fit ahead of time.

I started this project a few days ago, trying to build a Kenworth 963, a big, 6x6 truck. Unhappily there is not a large scale kit available of this, so I’m trying to scratch/kitbash my way forward with a 1/24 version. I’ll open a thread in Automodeler to go with this -

I started with the cab:

Body work is a real challenge for me, but I’ve tried a few times and gained some useful experience. I built a jig to keep this stable. So far so good!

On we go!

Cheers
Nick
