What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

Don’t you love using your large tractor’s main gun to plow the fields?

Jake got a carousel ride today. :circus_tent:

Time for some primer.
• Tamiya Fine Grey Surface Primer (87064)

The fuselage is still only dry-fit to the wing assembly at this stage.

As always, thank’s for having a look!

Is that a sort of painting stand, or is it where the plane launches off of the boat from?

They are VERY useful, indispensable to me. Well made, mine are 30 years old and like new. I’ve stripped them 3 times. Superior ball bearing turntables. All at a price of about €19 they are a bargain.

Something I’ve been working on in tandem with the Rochev to keep my sanity. Since I put the Rochev on hold I have made more progress on this than I expected. It’s the Trumpeter T80 BVM. Very nice kit although the PE is a bit heavy/hard and must be annealed. That aside, no issues thus far. Fit is very good. Track clean up as usual is tedious, but hey, that’s just part of modeling.

What, no top track runs?

Hidden by skirts. Did them on the T80B so I’ll probably end up doing them on this.

Big beasts! What kits are these?

FV4004 the Turret is AA (Accurate-armour), the body Amusing Hobby
FV4005 the Turret is AFV the body Amusing Hobby. I know, a bit of a waste, but time bring new kits and the AFV Version was later and is in my eyes superior

Some people like to work on details that won’t be seen anymore after finishing the model, but I think we can all agree that assembling less link and length tracks is always better!
