What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

Slow and horrible.

Inspired by a tile base @SSGToms posted a while back, I decided to try one after a stop at Lowe’s.

Hex tile, outlined edges with permanent black marker, glued felt to underside to prevent table top scuffs.

Well,I got all 11 planes of the air wing completed, the only thing left to do is to assemble 11 of those teeny-weeny PE aircraft trolleys, they are tedious, but I expect to get them done before 10/31.I really would have settled for the little solid blocks of plastic as you can barely see these under the planes.

Man, those designers seem to get more and more sadistic each time!!! You did a great job however!

Those planes are fantastic Tony! Love them!

Wow! That is incredible, a triumph of steady hands. The penny really gives size reference.

Today I’m spending time pondering my next project. At the minute I’m stuck between 3 choices;

HobbyLink’s M125 towing Real Model’s M127 trailer using HL’s M365 dolly

HL’s M819 tractor wrecker using either the HL cab or the Mikey Bugs version.

Miniman Factory’s M916 towing either a lowbed or a flatbed trailer.

Any thoughts, input on the above would be welcome. I’m breaking out of the ODS theme for options 1 and 2 of these I know. Probably looking to try my first MERDC finish.

Cheers folks.

Remember the Alamo

… Or some of you may remember this rat’s nest?

35 days after my big move to Texas, the power grid is finally back on … and just think, nobody got hurt! :electric_plug::zap:

And here we have Ratatouille’s, the leftovers. :cheese: :mouse:

Hopefully soon, I’ll actually open a bottle of cement… or paint… or varnish… I’ve got sooooo much catching up to do! :hammer_and_wrench::hocho::sweat_drops: :man_shrugging:

Michael, yes I remember the “Power Station”, good to know the move & unpacking is coming along!

No hobby area works without a couple of power strips and extension cords it seems.

Looking forward to seeing your next build project.

Wish I had a 3D printer, to correct the twisted and miss shaped parts.

So, the two Panzer III’s and the BR 52 locomotive didn’t seem like enough so I started on this yesterday and through today:

This will be all my Enterprises until I pick up a ‘D’ and an ‘E’.
