next step painting
Yesterday did some work on this.
Most is just test fitted and not glued. I will paint it all seperate.
The generator storage box is too thick so I will put the lid on it. My plan is to scratch build the generator and have it outside the 251.
Finished my entry for the Great War campaign today.
I present you Takoms’ Mark IV Tadpole in 1:35.
More pics can be found in the campaign thread.
Very cool! Please note at 7:18 time stamp on your video this photo looks like the Dupree crew. This photo of “DAS DUPREE” (D22) crew lead by TC Staff Sgt. Joseph Dupree of Company D, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Squadron, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division in Germany 2014. The crew was shown in a live fire practice video. Interesting story on this tank crew’s loader, Pfc. Terrianna Martin. She is a mechanic with Company D, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division and stepped up to fill out the crew.
Finally cleaned up and organized the stash.
I had things all over the place before. Tidied up and reorganized things, so that there is more of a flow, like putting all German WW2 together, then all British WW2 and so on. Helps me see what I have in the stash easier and where I might want to add. Next up is cleaning the bench so that when I finally get some time next week I can focus on finishing the P-40
Let’s see how long this will stay like that
Third Law of Thermodynamics - entropy always increases! I give it a month…
Got the Churchill AVRE Fascine done … Some minor detail painting still to do and some pigments to add…
Now … For the next project…
Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what’s next up …
Great work on the the Churchill, John!
It’s getting serious now with my ICM Unimog. Not many parts are still missing. Hopefully I have it finished by next weekend …
Looks like one of my all time favourite aircraft John! Gotta love an F-4. Could be a US Airforce C or D, probably D?
PS. The Churchill AVRE looks the part.
May I guess it will become a RAF Phantom in the end …?
Cheers Terry & Torsten…
Its one of the Hasegawa F4B/N’s (the Sundowners one)… and an RAF Phantom …??? Nah … it has to be a Jolly Rogers F4 … decals are ordered and due in tomorrow …
Johnny, A+++ on the Churchill AVRE Fascine! Looking forward to the F4 build!
Whilst my T-74 project is coming to fruition, I thought I do a little “down, test and adjust” on my Bundeswehr Universal Carrier project:
As always for Cold War modellers, it’s the figures that require the work.
Cheers Wade
