Inspired by others recent builds, I dug this off the shelf of doom, should be finished today.

Same model a few years ago, my second failed attempt at MASSTER

Nearly completed the M106 build. (Just a little weathering to do) with the 0.45mm rope now threaded into the rear fender. Tie down rings are on the trailer and chains assembled, to be fitted hopefully tomorrow.

This project is nearly complete and ready for the Convoy campaign.

Jeez Bert that looks even more complex than my ICM Henschel truck chassis! How many parts, can you beat 100? Looks like a masterpiece, bravo :+1: :+1:

If the tape weren’t there, this would look like a real bike - great work!

I’ve kept going on the big International, specifically in and around the engine bay:

While not bad, the kit is a bit toylike, but as it is basically good, and with plenty of flat space, I’ve gone about adding more. This will eventually wind up in a dio, so I want the engine are visible.

The real truck has a large/long hood, broken into a few sections, which sit on a frame. The kit provides a single piece for the hood that covers all of this area, so, I went ahead and added the framework, as I don’t want to show the hood on the kit. And, as the door opens, added some detail to the driver seat:

Rather than searching for a seatbelt kit, I made one up using styrene. I can see in the pic this needs a bit of clean up, but it’s basically ok.

Next up, two oldies but goodies, M113 ACAV and M106A2, both Tamiya, both have been sitting unfinished for quite some time. The ACAV is just the plane Tamiya M113, but I had the leftover ACAV parts from another kit that is used, and aftermarket decals

The finish on that commander’s platform is outstanding.

Thanks! I’ve spent a lot of time standing on them, wearing off the paint. The whole vehicle will be in MERDC, not sure which one yet

Those are looking real cool Bert!

Didn’t get the M106 tied down today as I tackled using an Epoxy glue for the first time in years. (Apparently the only thing to use when bonding rubber tracks to a resin trailer bed). Difficult stuff to work with but the ‘6 is onboard now. Visiting family tomorrow for an early Mother’s Day, so the tying down will have to wait for the weekend.

Got the towing cable properly set and clear coated a spot for the final bumper code.

Hobby On.

Hi James, I’m happy to see your Tamiya M106A2 has the correct length bracket for the M2 on the t/c’s cupola. My older Tammi M106A1 had a way longer bracket that needed replacing to look accurate.

Old school Italeri Steyr RSO no. 227 from AtlantaCon 26. I scored a set of Dragon Magic Tracks from eBay. Working on the tarp. Also realized that I’m older, and have way too much stowage. I’ll pack this one full.

I just finished the RFM T80UK. It was quite a complex project, but I’m still happy with the result even if there are a few flaws.

I still need to finish a T72B3M and a T90M.

Hi Sarge, I have a couple RFM kits in my stash but haven’t built one yet. How do they compare with MENG and brands like that - or even older stuff?
