I grew up in Gulf Breeze and my grandmother lived in Warrington across from Pensacola NAS, so they were pretty much always in town until I moved to Gainesville in 1984. Now I’m outside Atlanta and all I see are Delta flights; no acrobatics.

First few steps of the M548A1 refueling wagon. Will be finished in MERDC Red Desert as shipped out for Op Desert Storm.
The camo was updated to overall Sand soon after the vehicles arrived.
An early AFV Club product, the fit is tricky in places, like the Chapparal I built previously.

Worked on my Tamiya A-8. Exhaust staining using oils and pigments, oil leak using AKs products.
I have some free time coming up and I hope to finish this by the end of the month.

Forks mated to chassis - primary chain case and chain guard installed and external oil lines installed.

That’s a really tough act to follow. But, here goes anyway…
More Ju 88 A-4 masking as promised. I cut and applied the full mask to the greenhouse canopy, and attached it to the fuselage.
‘Microscale (MI-9) Micro Krystal Klear’ seals the deal. 
Next up… Wet sanding and grey primer to get rid of that hard edge on the fuselage.

Working on the M923 hillbilly gun truck ditch the trash kit tires and got some DEF models. Painted with Ts-70 Jgsdf Olive Drab. Reused some of the detailing parts from my now scrapped diorama and assorted stowage bits.

Looking good! Yes, those Italeri wheels are junk. DEF or Panzer Art is the way to go.

I’ve spent the last few days working on the bed and boom of a wrecker project:
The right side of the bed is getting close to being done, so next will be the left side. The yellow plastic on the back was supposed to be used for bed ribs on the base kit, but with some cutting, they worked fine here. The boom is coming along, the winches are installed, but, more plastic to be added 
On we go

Had a day off, so made progress on my two tamiya 190s. Got a bit of weathering and exhaust work done. Once that was done I completed the final assembly. Now I’m giving the oils a day to dry (very easy with the 45°C weather I’m currently enjoying) before sealing everything with a flat coat.
