Waiting for a supply delivery. Meanwhile…

I had a thought and cobbled-together a rough vignette.:light_bulb:

Colin, that’s looking like a really good tribute. Groundwork and vehicle are excellent!

Learned that Steel Oxide has produced a set of wheels/tires specifically designed for Hobby Link’s M246 tractor, wrecker.
The M246 was the heaviest variant of the M39 6x6 truck. With its longer frame, higher-capacity crane and 12.00 by 20.00 wheels, it dealt with wrecked aircraft recovery and other difficult loads.
I’m really pleased with this news, because an M246 pulling a loaded M172 trailer will be my entry into the “Let’s get hitched” campaign.

Thanks E!

The selection consisted of 34 models, with 10 of them built especially for this year’s event.

I scored a Gold for the Vickers 6 t.(# 20) too,

Fantastic work there Angel - as we’ve come to expect; for a moment I thought I was looking at a Zapad-whatever-exercise re the fifth picture(!)

Angel that is very impressive! And just three of you putting that lot together!? Wow!

Thanks Brian!

The 5th picture shows the variety of T-55A’s(incl. a T-55AM2 Kladivo) fielded in the Third Armored Company of 53d MSP(moto-rifle regiment) in Grudovo during the late 1980’s.

The models are built by my modelling buddy Angel Dimitrov, who served as the Tank Maintenance Officer of the company back then.He is our T-55 guru!

Angel

Very impressive work I must say, and one can’t get much more authentic than having the Maintenance Officer actually build them, that’s for sure. Well done to all - an admirable display indeed.

More work on the Ferret.

This time adding various Tools and rack details.

I’ve also made a start on this one, to become a companion of the Ferret:

Not much to show yet, given the amount of flash and mould seam detail that I have had to remove on some of the chassis components, which surprised me given the relatively high retail cost of this one. For a “modern day” relatively recent release, this came as a bit of a disappointment for me if truth be told.

I’ll post some progress on the Landy soon.
