I put some clear coat on the KV2, apologies for the poor photography.
Finished building my VOMAG’s June 1943 production Bulgarian Pz.IV:
2 years ago I bought 7 or 8 Pz.IV kits to build from them the variety of Bulgarian Maybachs, delivered to my country between May 1943 and January 1944.The kits waited 2 years for my mood.
I’ve built 2 “Maybachs” in the last 20 days
And I will open a third box tomorrow to build this-also VOMAG- one:
Edit: That’s B 60293, Fgst.N. 85075, produced by VOMAG in July 1943.
Some interesting features on this wagon, worth mentioning is the second visor on turrets RHS, officialy abandoned several months before.
Seems like VOMAG were brushing their warehouses for any components or parts available…
Cheers,
Angel
Angel, those are very sharp looking Vomag Pz IV’s! Fantastic!
Thanks Wade!
No match for yours, but I’m trying
Angel
That is a very nice fleet of tanks you have going.
Did several paint match tests, primed a few more small parts, added some greeblies to the saucer’s wheel bays. … With the saucer, two support vehicles, ground support equipment, etc., this celebrates the 200.00 hrs mark on this diorama build!
“It is not finished yet? So what are you celebrating?”
Oh well, back to the laboratory…

Angel, yours are definitely top notch! I’m in awe of your building MiniArt kits, those are beyond my level of patience!
Speaking of Pz IV’s started the Tamiya Pz IV F today. Nose plate & tail plate with a bit of texture.
You can always strap an M107 to the front rack, or an Mk46 (M249) on a swing arm. Nothing out of the ordinary.
That’s the beauty of the quads; it’s a very flexible platform; they can go where Eve. The mighty Toyota Hilux can’t go. @18bravo can vouch for me on that. Lol.
Tis true. We had them but rarely used them simply because of the limited range. And I like to go fast, have a kick ass CD player and good A/C in our Tacomas. DId I mention the time we attacked a compound in Sharona with the Knack’s My Sharona blaring throught the speakers? Epic.
Nice work on the tracks. Love how this is coming along!

The “outdoor spray booth” got a workout today! …
I took the Haunebu IIb hull parts out for a spin in the sun today… shade actually.
Tamiya Fine Grey Surface Primer (rattle-can)
Next coat… Tamiya Ts-29 Semi Gloss Black (rattle-can)
Upper Hull parts… Tamiya As-2 Light Grey IJN (rattle-can)
Shoosh! This thing is just gobbling-up paint!
Hmmm, looks a tad grainy, but I guess it is what it is.
Whaddaya think?
—mike …
looks nice, will the top be removable?
your work is great, but I still fail to see how this was supposed to be a wonderweapon.
Well, it has you wondering how that is, right?
I understand that command of this weapon was to be Herr Frisbee …
Nice. That’s Psyops level stuff. Like Col. Kilgore rolling into town with “Ride of The Valkyries” playing.
Reminds me on our drive into Iraq in 03; we jury-rigged a radio inside our Humvee, and we were playing “Eye of the Tiger” as we crossed the No Man’s land into Iraq from Navistar.
I did the same in my HMMWV in March '03 w/a CD player and computer speakers. As we crosses the border, we were playing “Welcome to the Jungle” by G’n’R.
Yeah; exact same setup we had. We scrounged some cheap PC speakers and a Sony CD player. Those were the good days…
Area 51 called.
They said the aliens want their flying saucer back.
On a serious note, looking good!
