As far as I know it was taken away from the market in 1988. There was a time you could buy heroin in the pharmacy too. I think it ends in the early 1970’s
I finished the road-wheels and all the parts for it today. I think, slowly I get closer to start painting, maybe I thought that before
Next week the weather should be bad sometimes, maybe there is some time for building.
Nice week to all.
Ah, I hope the guy who needs an airbrush will be in touch soon✌
Nice kit that Terry; I built it some time ago - simple, good fit. I miss that sometimes!
Put a coat of light green paint on the part of the basement floor where I build. (makes it easier to find tiny dropped parts, etc.)
until you get a green sprue, that is!
I was able to visit the Technik Museum Sinsheim today! I can get you guys some photos later, as I have to transfer them over from both my camera and my phone.
You should also go to Speyer. They are near each other. My favourite places in the south-west (no offence Baden). I especially liked this contraption.
Ehm, USMC Cobra pilots during OIF.
Cowabunga!
Hmmm… What to do with all these extra drinking straws I have laying around?

Beautiful work on the Panzer!
Thank you @Delta21 Anthony!
Hopefully, the power is restored soon so the panzer can get finished and life back to normal.
I mean that you can’t buy this stuff in a pharmacy or another shop. I am sure that it’s another thing in the german army too. Maybe for pilots, special forces and other units. But the common people can’t get it since the time I wrote. Not legal…
Yep, I dont recall what exactly they used, but it was designed to keep them awake. That was the biggest issue during the drive to Baghdad, you cant go for 100 hours straight without sleep and there were just so many mission to do…
I think any army has things to help their soldiers to do their job. I know some people who do it without beeing at the armed forces. The problem is that you are in danger to get in conflict with the law. But I think it’s widespread in society
@ Anthony (Alpha23). That’s impeccable work on your Typhoon!
Here’s my not so impeccable work from today’s paint session…
Sprayed the tubes with Tamiya TS-99 IJN Grey (rattle-can)… because it was handy.

Looks cool! I love scratch-built sci-fi ships.
