Good haul. Consider putting some of those foam cupboard door tabs on the clamps. You know the tabs that prevent the loud slapping sound when the door closes. Great for grip. Also, the rubber tabs under your speakers on the stands work well too.

This came in the mail the other day. It’s the old original Revell late 70’s vintage kit. Came out the same time as their Me-109G10, P-40E, and Spitfire II. I won’t be building it in the kit racer markings, but instead in one of the many 8th Air Force fighter group markings that I have…

I visited the Reno Air Races three times, so I would build it as “Miss America”, but it will look great anyway with WW2 markings. Which do you have in mind?

Something rare arrived at my door today from Bohemia.The new limited edition of the Zlin Z226 Trener from Eduard. Not easy to choose only 2 of the 10 really colourful options. But sure not this year and also not next year. But I have the kit and they should perfectly fit to my Airfix Chipmunk from earlier this year …

I’m enjoying the Eduard MIG-21 mf enough that I decided to try a bis. It needs a new nose. The decals are for both the mf and the bis.

A lovely surprise from Eduard turned up today, a pre-release sample of their new A6M2 Zero, titled Tora! Tora! Tora! boxing.
First glance it looks like a cracking kit.
I’m hoping to start building this at the weekend after I have reviewed it.

They look nice just from the box art Andy, it will be interesting to see Eduard’s take on the type Zero in 1/48, although for now I’m happy with my 1/72 Tamiya Zeros.
I have an aircraft carrier load of Hasegawa Zeros but this looks very tempting. I might get one of these kits just for comparison. And I’m an Eduardoholic anyway …

Great models! I have fond memories of the HAWK Jug, esp. the tire tread. IIRC, I had a dickens of a time getting the fuselage tops to fit. Found this model a few years ago - unopened - and sent it to a friend, who also loves the kit.
Bought a Black Dog (IIRC) cockpit for my Do 24. It has been in hibernation since c.2007. Need to find and finish her.
