Now they look interesting! Might have to get a sheet.

Thanks. :+1:

Added one of my favorite aircraft to the stash. A Super Hornet in the form of Mengs F-18F. Haven’t had w chance to have a look in the box, but I’m excited for this one! I’ll be building it for the teen fighter campaign

Now I do value DP Caspers products, and I have personally bought a set or two in the past. I have to say you can make any of the displayed camos without a specialised set.

Pickup from eBay. Plan to do it in flight on a display stand, possibly for the X-planes campaign, if it gets going.

Don’t forget to include the legendary “broom handle”… and a pack of ‘Beemans Chewing Gum.’

Good haul of stuff.
Special Hobby’s F.1’s are fantastic kits aren’t they. I’m going to try and get a Middle East Air Force’s campaign going to do mine for.
Would be interested to know what’s in the IIIC kit, that’s been on my wish list for a while.

Wish they’d do one in 1/48 :disappointed_relieved:

Thank you Damian. I have always enjoyed the Ballantine’s Illustrated History books.

Luke…I am the author.

Xmas acquisitions that are only now getting posted.

The Tamiya Mk.I Spitfire needed company. And I somewhat mistakenly bought the original 1/72 Viper with no weapons and afterwards decided I needed a fully armed SEAD jet….

So, my Iwata HP CS Eclipse had to go off to be serviced and cleaned. Therefore, I needed a replacement airbrush that wasn’t going to cost the earth and would still produce a quality finish.

I did some reseaerch and in the end settled for this.

Its great. It was just over £60 with P&P. It certainly does not feel like a budget airbrush. Its weighty, sturdy and with features (like the paint flow adjustment function) that you would normally only get with much more expensive airbrushes. It also comes with an alternative air valve that converts your brush into a single-action tool and also, a crown shaped needle cap for close-in work.

It sprays most kind of paint thicknesses with ease (0.4mm nozzle) and hooks up to my Iwata Studio compressor.

What’s not to like. I can highly recommend one as a back up if nothing else.
