What the postman brought today (AeroScale)

You can Never Fail when you build a model , the mistakes we make are teaching/building blocks for the future builds .
Believe me I’ve made a butt load of mistakes , but they have taught me valuable lessons .
Enjoy building the Stuka my friend !

Been wondering about the CSM kits myself .
I see a lot of kits that sell out fast from certain Vendors . That must mean something .
Been wanting to build a Bristol Scout for some time , will be following your progress and comments on the kit .

I’ve had a chance to look it over and all seems first rate . It may not be next in the queue - currently working on WnW Albatros . What little posting I am able to do is through my phone as my iPad is acting up . I am working to fix it but this dinosaur is good to need professional help.

Some bits for a future 1/72 Eagle Claw RH-53 build.

That will be an interesting one to see come together. Not an operation you see modelled often.

I’ve had a few goodies arrived that last couple of weeks.

Firstly a set of gunpods for the T-28 in 1/72. Enough for three aircraft. Can finally get around to doing those Heller’s I’ve had for years!

And today an old Hasegawa Mitsubishi Babs joined my little collection of Japanese aircraft.

Looks a nice little kit. Hopefully the decals will work, but I have got hinomarus in my spares if they prove difficult.

I agree. I will do a thread for the build once I clear a few projects off my desk to make room for it hopefully by the end of summer. Just got the size I need of evergreen siding sheet to make the internal fuel tank.

Finally cashed in birthday tokens for Wonderland Models in Edinburgh. Will be going for the sundowners scheme I think, another shark mouth nose for the collection.

Some books that arrived today. I have actualy already read the KG200 book some 30 years ago, but im recently hunting these old editions. Nice game of hit and miss since I hate books smelling after cigarets and trust me, a lot of these do exactly that.

Hi mates,
while I was away for a fortnight on the Canary Islands in June, the pre-ordered Mustangs from Eduard arrived. :grinning: :+1:

I hope my enthusiam is great enough to build them this year…
Cheers

The Alpha Jet has caught my eye not only in the french skies during vacations, but especially because of the great Duke Hawkins book. And the F-4G will some day be built when my first gulf war theme comes to life…

Looks good. These Royal Class kits are quite impressive.

I snagged the 1/48 P-51B Royal kit this weekend at my LHS. Was very surprised to find it there since it seemed to be a pre-order only thing and largely unavailable now.

The Borg Cube arrived today! :package:

And as expected, all boxes were damaged somewhat — tight-a$$ packaging — not the carrier’s fault. So far as I can tell, only the boxes sustained the brunt of bendage… Nothing that the cardboard curling iron can’t straiten. … “It’ll buff right out.” :hammer:

And the moment you all (or just a few of you) have been waiting for… the “Borg-er” contents…

:package: Border BF005 1/35 Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 (Kate) Carrier Attack Bomber w/Full Interior
:package: Border BF001 1/35 German Messerschmitt Bf-109 G-6
:package: Border BF002 1/35 German Junkers Ju-87 G1/G2 Stuka
:package: Border BF003 1/35 German Focke-Wulf FW-190A-6

All during the beginning of my big move to Texas. It’s back in the box for the lot of you. :package:

PS: Forgot to mention: Good eBay pricing with FREE shipping made me do it!
