Nice load. I need to get few their CH-53 and MH-53 set rotor sets for the academy kit. They look a lot better then what’s OOB.
It was in my order at purchase but they ran out of the tail fold. Might forgo the boom to make storage easier. Will probably order that direct in a future order.
Arrived today for the Phantom campaign…
Which included the Aires cockpit set.
Still need to get the Decals for the Jolly Rogers …
Decal set for my Vampire tribute build. Chucked some Hawker Hunter 3D cockpit decals for a future build in the basket as well.
If the box art is anything to go by, you’re gonna enjoy that build…
Hi, what is the country of origin? Quinta Studios do some nice stuff in this style but since i’m boycotting RuZZian suppliers, that is limiting my choice.
The owner, Alexander Trofimov was purported to be an ardent Putin supporter, I believe the company is listed in Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan now as they probably relocated to avoid sanctions. I haven’t purchased any of their products and probably won’t there are a number of other companies that produce quality sets as well.
Can you name them please? I’m simply not funding Putin’s murderous war.
It was no one specific that I can recall. There were several articles I read at the beginning of the conflict and maybe podcasts, that stated this whether correct or not this is the information I read or heard. Whether or not you support him (assuming this is Alexander), is a matter for you, but as a consumer I can only take the information presented when making purchase decisions until proven wrong. If I am wrong, and it wouldn’t be the first time, then I apologize.
I’m unable to tell from their website although it is co.uk:
I ran a quick search for Kitsworld through company house and has had a few iterations, but always registered to same address in Essex and Director with an un-Russian sounding name if that helps.
“Red Fox” is another company that does stuff like Quinta.
This old Microscale B-25 sheet arrived a week ago. I’ve got a couple of old Italeri D’s, thought it would be great to do Hells Fire with one.
And picked up a Ye Olde Matchbox H/J to do Leroys Delight.
Does it still have the hunter and mountain lion figures ?
It does, that was one of the things that attracted me to the model.
