What the postman brought today (Armorama)

@danielpanev Daniel, I had an opportunity to try out a couple of Quick Wheel track links tonight. My apologies for not getting back to you as quickly as I’d planned.

Panther D tracks, 3 bags left, right and locking links to close the track loop.

My first attempts assembling two links by snapping together with fingers on work mat failed.

Second attempts to assemble two links by snapping together with tweezer as shown on box also failed on the work mat.

Third attempt using a Ryefield Model Panther track link jig also failed because the Quick Track links wouldn’t fit the jig.

Considered getting out the Fruil model Panther track jig and trying it but was frustrated at this point and went with the nuclear option. Traxx(?) adjustable track jig.

The two links went together with a precision snap! Like butter and hot biscuit on a cold morning! Wow!

Couple of seconds later…

…had to stop before I did the whole track. Very easy and fast to do on a stable surface.

Held together well and articulate like a top quality set of track links.

Test fit on an old Dragon Panther D that’s on my work bench. The fit was very snug on the sprocket but workable.

I’m pleased and may toss the old Dragon plastic Panther D tracks in the trash as these look better.
