Needing more space. My thoughts when contemplating purchasing that new 1/32 scale Lancaster. Aside from the price that is.
Glad you caught the spacing issue! (I did a set of new springs on Shapeways, but splicing in some 0.040" plastic at each end does the same job…)
Less happy to hear of your primer disaster - I hope it can be recovered! Mine has been painted, decaled, and glossed for weathering, but has sat in the box for a year now while I find where I left all those Round Tuits.
Since @G-man69 had me get some DAS and I have plenty of leftover, I needed to do something with it.
@justsendit reminded me on his fence, that I didn’t have the small brinks.
Juweela had a few bricks doing nothing so they followed the other bricks home.
Those molds look neat. Excited for a review.
I will let you know more tomorrow/the following day.
The brick and hexagons were the easiest to pack, I think the pavers will be the easiest to remove.
“Follow the red brick road. Follow the red brick road. ”
What’s that you say? It’s “yellow” brick road?… Oh, never mind.
what material did you pack them with?
At first glance… I forgot to buy Cookie D’Oh at market today!
yeah, I forgot. I asked you this before. That’s why I need to close that bottle of cement. I thought it was a bit fumy in this room.
Honey, why are butterflies flying around IN the house again?
Those remind me of the Woodland Scenics rock formation molds I purchased many years ago.
Those WS molds are still sold at my LHS.
Here’s a modeler who makes his own tiles, bricks, pavers etc etc. I haven’t the time at the moment to find a direct link but here’s his Facebook page.

If you have time follow some of his tutorials. He IS the master of dioramas. IMHO.

Yeah. They are really high quality and the rock formations have really nice shape and texturing. Since they are silicon, the plaster casts pop out with a simple twist.
I wonder if those acrylic molds will release the bricks and paving stones as easily.
I may have to pick some up the next time I’m there.
That’s a great resource, BGT. Thank you for sharing it. I am in the process of learning to use Vallejo paints and can use all the help I can get. Since I also enjoy sculpting and scratch building fantasy stuff, those techniques will pay great dividends if I can figure them out.
Thanks for information. It appears his Facebook page is private and the website doesn’t show any molds.
I hope so. We will see.
OK. Try this link. http://www.feldbahn-modellbau.ch/search/label/4.69%20Tutorial%20-%20Mauer%20mit%20T%C3%BCre
make sure you hit ‘translate’ to see English in Google.
Scroll down the left side. You will see various tutorials. His blog site can be a bit of a pain to navigate. But in there you will find tiles, fences, bricks etc etc.
Try 4.78 as an example.
