I have a postcard that my grandfather sent from France in WW1 that has a ‘foo’ on it. So the Australian troops had ‘foo’ during WW1.
Because of that ‘foo’ every birthday card we have sent for many years has a ‘foo’ on it. The grand kids expect it. I write to my mum every month and sign it with a ‘foo’. So ‘our’ ‘foo’ goes back to WW1.
Looks like Revell got all of the critical details correct on that one.

In our De-Fence… a fence is not a wall… ![]()
Nice work Mike - love the decals… and Dennis of course.
@ petbat. Thank’s! I knew you’d be on the fence!
… Not a “wall" at all. That was an obscure clew aimed at kosprueone. He finally got it. It’s a reference to his “Mars” comment about another diorama I’m working on. Lol! ![]()

One BTM dug a hole. It’s name was ‘Doug’.
Another BTM broke down whilst it was digging. It was then named ‘Doug-las’.
A third BTM broke down before it started digging. It is now named “The Ukraininan Farmer’s Plow”

These arrived today. On quick inspection the parts look absolutely superb. These are my first SMM kits. Mike at SMM kindly substituted the shackled wheels in place of the plain wheels on the Wombat, as I plan to mount this on the back of a suitable Land Rover.
I’ve seen the STZ-5 built (by a modelling friend of mine) and the only thing I can say is- this kit is a real gem!
Cheers,
Angel
That’s good hear. It’s the only other option besides the Vulcan one that people talk about and they don’t like parts of that kit as I recall.
Installing wheels on the tractor?
That looks amazing @justsendit ! I’m honoured to see the kilroys ![]()
