I built the 70s era kit about 9 years ago. The vinyl tracks were junk. Otherwise a really nice kit.
I’m gonna use the link and length but the vinyl in the newer kit look to be the new tamiya glueable rubber type and quite nice for vinyl
After 8 weeks of shipping and the usual struggle with the mailman, I got this beauty. Will of course turn into a Bundeswehr gun.
MSRP was 46 Euro plus 16 Euros customs.
that a lot cheaper, than the resin one from Germany, I did a few years back.

Trumpeter T-14 Armata from evil-bay auction, a bargain at £23+£5 postage.
Brand new as it left the factory.
And arrived yesterday also from evil-bay £3.
What a book I have already read half of it because I could not put it down.
Sorry for picture quality but I tried with the studio flash and the surfaces are too shiny.
Late birthday haul (one half at least as the other is aircraft related). Older Tamiya kit re-box, but will fall together. Nice figures included as well for a diorama at some point.
Churchill from AFV will not be better?
I will be doing prototype tuning with the 76 mm gun from my “Russian” version
Detail wise almost certainly and AFV definitely do the best current 1/35 range of Churchills. I think I’m right in saying AFV’s Churchill 7 also has a partial interior. However the Tamiya kit with aftermarket PE is still (a lot) cheaper than the AFV kits overall.
Not experienced enough to comment on the accuracy of each kit, but suspect the AFV might be better.
Afv is at a similar price to Tamiya and is much more accurate and richer in details - I recommend it!
The AFV club Churchills are fantastic but much more complex. The tamiya will be a nicer relaxing build
Here I have to admit you are right!
I have a AFV club Churchill half built, I’m scratching the entire interior. And you are right, they are nice kits!
I know - I have almost all of them , but I am adding Afv cell tracks to them…
I’m building the Dieppe one right now, for a small vingette!
I don’t have a Dieppe version …what needs to be done
Being Canadian I had to grab one. All of the tanks on the beach that day came from my home town
