Maybe Def Model or someone else will make a single spare wheel.
HA! I bought a set of DEF wheels for my KET-T and they gave me 8 resin wheels and no spare. And on that vehicle, the spare is the dead center high point of the truck. The rubber kit tires were abysmal. A master-caster friend in my club cast the non-sagged half of a resin wheel twice, cut them in half and made a master for a non-sagged spare for me. Cast that and it came out perfect. I dare not ask him to do it again for the JLTV. That would be pushing it.
Plan A: If DEF Model advertised a spare was included and it’s “missing” from the box, I would contact them — good customer service. Otherwise, I guess you know what to expect when ordering.
Plan B: I would push it… with a six-pack offering in hand.
Is the kit spare that bad?
You could cast one and rest a tarp and/or bag on and over the sag (or trim the bulge back), then use a ratchet strap right around the tread to hold it in place
My last delivery for 2022 just dropped off the back of Santa’s Sled!
Oh my!.. It’s got balls!
Happy New Modeling Year!

You’ll be stunned and amazed. I had I big squeeze bottle of black AK primer that had completely separated in four months of non use.
10 seconds on the bottom and 10 seconds on the top and it was black again.
I’m leery of the steel balls I got with mine. I have experienced the counterfeit Amazon “stainless steel” paint mixing balls once already….,
Mr postman brought me a gift… courtesy of my wallet.
This is going straight to the Great War Campaign.
Does it smell like the inside of Harbor Friieght store?
There’s no distinguishable smell. But then I’ve never been to a Harbor Freight store.
be interesting to see that compared to the Tamiya one
I can briefly summarize: old Tamiya one → trash can and not worth my time comparing.
I’ve got the old Tamiya one, been in the cupboard for years, with new turned barrels and a write up from somewhere on how to change the rear etc so it’s closer (oh and a brass detail set as well). I’m looking at it as an (eventual) challenge
Hobby Link delivery this morning:
Here’s the inside of the Type 63; tracks look interesting . The thing at an angle across the turret with the spiderwebs is the main gun barrel.
Edited to change “intersecting” to interesting
Wow ! Do you build them as fast as they come in ?
I don’t understand the question.
