First time I’ve ever ordered anything from Hobby Easy. Ordered 1/26 and this arrived today:
Well I got some decals from Hannants! Not a big deal? Of course it is - now I can mark up and finish my “Movie Star” M41…
(Not really sure what to do with all the spare crosses - I only needed three of the small ones!)
Shouldn’t let the crosses go waste… Order few more FW-190s and BW-109… the rest will follow ![]()
@Denimo stop buying all the M54s!
I’m having a hell of a time finding them.
I’m no better, I just got two M54A2 gun tricks…
Edited for spelin
For that I’d need something like a 1:6 scale plane!
Bwa ha ha. The fleet’s in ( my fleet that is
).
Hope you find some though.
HobbyEasy is the best in my opinion. Been shopping with them for decades. Always first to get a new item. ALWAYS the lowest price. Always great service and correspondence, and fast shipping. Nobody can beat them.
While all of Russia is looking forward to real Leopards, my little Leopard 2A7 came to me with useful additions.
And finally, a purchase came from the Japanese yahoo. I bought it in November, the parcel was in line for several months to be sent to Russia.
PS. I haven’t been home in just a week!
Nothing earth shattering…
Started to build up my supply of evergreen…
And some new and replacement paints…
And a new Magnifier was delivered.
Careful! Evergreen is addictive - I have all of the normal-length shapes from their catalogue. (Plus some Plastruct rods & tubes.) The cardboard box has a home-made set of dividers so each bunch of packets has its own cell, and the near end of the bag has sheets. I used to put them in a set of desk drawers, but this way the bag can come to wherever I’m working…
Ohhhh, that works for me!

Sadly I will have to build my supply up slowly… That lot was 20 quid …this will have to be under the radar from SWMBO… For my health and longevity lol
No worries John, I’ve been collecting the line bit-by-bit for nearly two decades! It really helps to spread the load.
Well since I was going to break my self imposed stash limit, thought I might as well smash it with a big kit!
Box is pretty heavy for an injection molded kit. Looks a significant amount more plastic than even the interior Miniart kits I have.
John,
You don’t need to build a deep stash of styrene to have enough for scratchbuilding. Or at least from the very start.
For sure when ordering first time one plays the madman with the machinegun.
But afterwards it must be cherry picking, not spraying bullets(hard earned cash).
It’s easier to order certain profiles once you need them for a specific project. It involves planning what and how to build, it hurts the wallet less and that makes the main difference between nice-to-have and must-have.
And some profiles you don’t use quite often.
For example-I rarely order strips. I can cut them myself from plate stock. If I cannot cut them, then I cannot cut any size true to dimension required.
So don’t hurry, but enjoy the endless opportunities styrene can be used for.
HTH,
Cheers,
Angel
Very true Angel, I’m going to invest in a few varying size sheets up 1 maybe 1.5mm, and that will save buying more strip sets, then I can focus on rod and U channels etc…
@ Angel. That’s a very good approach to purchasing styrene supplies, etc.
@ You other hoarders… You could probably collaborate on a 1:1 Death Star build! ![]()
