Or the Bronco set. Yes 6 parts per track, but they are excellent!!!

The problem with the Bronco set is that they have switched material
from styrene to the more durable unobtainium alloy …

Roger that - thanks.

Some references on painting German uniforms that you may find interesting:

This Vallejo Set comes with a brief step by step guide:

AK LEARNING 02: PANZER CREW UNIFORMS PAINTING GUIDE,

Despite focused on Panzer uniforms, it covers camouflage and Feldgrau so it can be used for Heer uniforms.

I think I have seen this one in English but can not remember where…

And finally, not a modelling book but plenty of full page photos of real, preserved, German uniforms so excellent reference for colours -if you can get one:

Wow. I didn’t realise that… I am glad I have 3 sets in the stash…

WRT the M103, there’s potentially some bad news over on T-L: https://www.track-link.com/forums/modelling_kits/24061

Seems the Takom kit may be using a slightly different track, and that may determine if you can get away with the AFV Club set at all. Best to make up a dozen links and test it on the kit sprocket…

Thanks Tom; the problem now appears to be what I can best use on my Dragon kit - the tracks being no longer serviceable, which is why I pontificated re the AFV Club ones. it seems like I’ll have no option but to use the kit tracks when I tackle the Takom version, and if it’s a chore, well, I’ll just have to suck it up.

As I indicated in the foregoing, it’s unlikely I’ll be tackling either just yet; in the meantime of course, I hope an aftermarket manufacturer somewhere, somehow comes up with the extra fuel platform, barrels, tubing, connectors, rack etc. Sadly, I’m no scratch-builder that’s for sure, but the additon would really make the M103A1 stand out I reckon - it’s big as it is.

I had no further communication from the seller on Aliexpress and have not requested a refund.
Then out of the blue I got this message, so now I have got the kit for nothing. If it was invalid tracking information anyway how come I got it?

Interesting. Hopefully you get the refund, then its a win win :+1:

Today I received the Hanomag SS-100 from Takom and the trailer Sd.Ah. 115 from Das Werk to carry my Seehund (in progress) from Verlinden which I scored at a second hand market.

Roddy Piper was the best in his game and the funniest. That was a great movie.
