The Legend 1/35 TUA conversion. I will be building an all white Canadian UN TUA from Bosnia for the Canaian armed forces campaign.
First off I want to say I really like the box art of the finished model.
Everything was packaged very nicely.
Box packed with lots of Resin and PE. (Light years ahead of the Verlinden kit…)
The large PE fret plus some copper wire.
Very detailed instructions.
First bag of parts.
Second bag. Very happy with what I see! Tons of very nicely detailed resin parts…awesome!
Great detail on the TOW launcher. (Loaded.)
Awesome detail on the upper hull.
I will need to open the holes on the drains.
And finally a little teaser shot on what is coming next…
Cant wait to start it!

@Mead93 i have. I have built the Tasca M4A3E8 and it went together so well. I also have the Asuka M32B1 in my stash. BNA model world just got an order in of the Asuka kits. That’s where this one came from.

No pics but they are easy to find. BNA had a special on RFM original Tiger 1. Full interior. #5003. I wanted a Tiger but not sure which one. Money talks! (FWIW I’m 2500k from BNA. The kit left 4.00pm Monday and arrived 10am Thursday. Not a bad service). This will be a good place to start.
Almost finished my RFM Panzer iv J with interior. So maybe the Tiger next. An observation. Its my understanding the RFM Tiger 1 with full interior kit #5003, is an old kit. Comparing the instructions of the Panzer to the Tiger they have done a lot to improve the instructions. Hopefully the kits isn’t as antiquated as the instructions!!

Next time you are looking for 2 part ‘geenstuff’ putty look for Kneadatite green stuff (or Blue/Yellow) bars. You get far more for your money and as they are separate bars, there is no contact so you do not lose the bit between the colours you have to cut out and throw away.

Glad to see it arrived in one piece… and that you have a project in mind already. If you’re going to tackle that British Urban camo, inspired by the cold war British - Berlin Brigade - tanks you better have a nice supply of Tamiya tape…

Ironically perhaps, not least as it was much maligned in its day, the Eastern Express version does have an interior, and makes up into quite a nice little kit (although I’m slightly prejudiced):
Anyway, I’m sure the Trumpeter kit will be just fine; enjoy the build!

My big postal delivery this week was two pots of Tamiya Extra Thin Cement (things were getting desperate in the modelling bunker…) and some Bronco Sherman tracks. Also picked up a cheap Kubus armoured car kit by Mirage, only to be pleasantly surprised that it has an interior…

Don’t kill the messenger but next time just use Tamiya airbrush cleaner for a glue, easier to get and save 75% cost. Link
