What the postman brought today (Armorama)

Mine turned up today - gonna take some serious reading! What a monstrously heavy box the books arrived in… :grinning:

My copy is out for delivery this morning Ryan! Waiting to ambush the postman when he drives up.

Pro tip, you want to stretch before picking up. It’s heavier than it looks.

I’m doing my morning Jack LaLane routine to warm up!

Nice idea Alan, matching codes based on research. I see what you mean about GPS, it was there after all!
If I ever build another M577 or M1068 I’ll really push hard to detail the interior, something approaching Gino’s build. The acetate sheet fix sounds interesting.

Cheers

I got mine just now. Hooah!

Another great book arrived today. I have read just some pages, but it seems to be really good. There are so many great books, it’s hard to decide what’s the next to get

Some new tools arrived today…

1/1 Pin Vise… :hammer_and_wrench:
This drilling rig has a better chuck size-range than my old double-ended style pin vise which I could never get a grip on.

‘Craft911 Precision Pin Vise’

and some 1/72 toolboxes… :toolbox:

‘1/72 CMK German WWII Aircraft Maintenance Toolbox’

Very tiny, but great detail for their size. :mag:

“That pin vise will never fit inside those toolboxes, you nincompoop!” :face_with_monocle:

I also purchased some of Jimbo’s models.

The AAVP-7A1 will give me the opportunity to build something truly modern. It very much reminds me of a World War II Landwasserschlepper.

The GAZ ambulance was on my want list and will be paired with all the nurse figures I purchased last year.

If time permits, I will build the Model T 1917 Ambulance for the World War I campaign. This model was also on my want list.

Studebaker trucks were often used as ambulances. It will probably end up paired with the GAZ.

The M101 was purchased as an easy (I hope) practice model.

I stocked up on glue and varnish. And I also took a little chemistry to try.

Yuri, have you tried any of ModelWorld’s products?

BTW - I like VMS’s products.

Can you provide a link to the company? Internet searches yield too many results. Including Russian “World of Models” (Мир моделей).
I have heard a lot of good things about VMS’s products. I decided to check it out.

Go to www.vms-supplies.com. Do you see Russia there? But I have glue! The world is somewhat more complicated.
