Just looking at the .1 and .2 I can sense they want to break lol…

.1 .2 .3 .4 and then .5…(Usually after the first use lol)

At the AMPS show in Southbend, IN Matt, kindly suggested checking BlackWidowModel’s vending tables.
Being a Geek, checked an online inflation calculator. A $25 kit today would have cost $12.56 in 1996 dollars. One small sampling of fantastic kits to consider at friendly prices.
Two golden oldies, the Tamiya early Tiger & T-72 proved irresistible.

These are exactly what you want, HSS which means high speed steel . I believe those circuit board drills are carbide to stand up to the abrasivness of the material and much more brittle than HSS.

Definitely, needs to be used in good quality drill presses to ensure there is no sideways movement when drilling.

I generally hold my nose and get them from Sprue Bros, LLC mostly when they’re on sale.

Went to the dentist earlier this week and he wasn’t wearing his usual optivisor…I asked him about it and he said one of his dental suppliers sent a couple of these to him gratis.
He said it was lighter than the same one he’s been using forever. I’ve also got the same really old one.
Anyway, to make a long story even longer, I found one on the big rapacious online retailer for just under $30.
It’s lightweight, has 4 different lenses and a rechargeable LED light with two settings: bright and holy crap that’s bright.
Pretty comfy too. I wear transitional lenses in my glasses and it doesn’t mess with them too badly. I’m usually looking under it anyway.
Like most of you, I have a whole collection of magnifying things ranging from the really cheesy to the spaceman ridiculous.
I always come back to my clunky gray set with the magnifying glass on the right side that won’t stay put.
I’m anxious to see how this one works. So far, so good.

I remember the original series Star Trek episode where they landed on a planet that had been given nazi influence by starfleet before the “prime directive” that showed V2 footage… 
It should be quite enjoyable… looks like it will take longer to paint than to build… a perfect project!

It was shop till you drop (or run out of money) in the massive vendor room of AMPS Internationals 2024. I got just a few kits:
But there was a DSPIAE tool vendor there and man I loaded up!
Also got a ton of Value Gear, some AK terrains and Real Colors paints, jerrycans, 2 sets of Resicast British Sherman stowage, an RP Toolz mini roller set and mini grab handler, and a couple #1 handles along with all the DSPIAE stuff in the middle. With all that and meals I spent over 1K but the 5 day road trip with my buds was worth it and I came home with a tremendous haul! I think I’m set for a while.
