What the postman brought today (Armorama)

Air defence systems arrived via the postman.

A set 1-2-3 (25-50-75 in continental Europe) blocks.

Grabbed them out of the postman’s hands, decreased them and then straight to their job. Not the most exciting things to buy, but wished I hadn’t postponed buying these things for so long.

This arrived today. 10 days from Dnipro, Ukraine, then took, 10 days from Ontario, Canada……something is wrong with Canada Post me thinks?

I’ve got the same thing happening - an order that left Kiev on 0324 took 12 days to get to New York City and was at the Dulles USPS center the very next day - and then took 16 days to move 22 miles to Merrifield USPS. Two days later it’s on it’s way to someplace else.

My 1-2-3 Blocks rusted immediately after degreasing them. Sure wish I could have used them, but I sent them back to Amazon for a full refund. :man_shrugging:

Chinese stainless steel = it was free from stains and covered in grease when it left our warehouse …

Sprue Brothers recently had a sale on the Magic Factory Bradley M2A4 3n1. Also arriving today from Michigan Toy VMS paint stripper & airbrush cleaner plus smart rust.

I hope the Magic Factory Bradley M2A4 3n1 goes on sale again as Kali claimed this one as her own.

I  Kit
Kit 63538
M1279 Utility (JLTV-UTL)

I was swimming around minding my own business when I saw a worm wriggling around. I thought to myself, why is an earthworm swimming in the ocean? Then I bit it then all of a sudden this kit arrives

I guess I was looking at the same SB sale as some of you guys. Arrived yesterday minus the cat…

Silly question, sorry. What are these used for, if you don’t mind me asking?

Not a silly a question at all! I use them when gluing pieces together that must be precisely at a 90° angle. As a bonus, usually no further supports are necessary.

Also use them as a substitute for the machinist’s square.
For me that works better.

Yesterday, I had a a to sand a small part. Stuck it with double sided tape to a block. Then it was made easily even and straight on the band sander (unanticipated application).

There are probably more applications.

My wife might like that, a cat with every order. :astonished:

My Lucky Model order from late November 2023 finally arrived today!

Six months? Blame it on the slowest of the slow boats? No, just a delay caused by a devious Neubaufahrzeug pretending to be stock when it wasn’t.

Why was everything in the box covered in covered in fine powder?

Remember that if Covid 27 or other deadly plague suddenly breaks out in the Mid-West, over the weekend. (J/k)

Wow! These smoke dischargers rock! A stack of Tamiya T-72’s are rejoicing! Listen carefully and you can hear them lollipoping :lollipop:

Speaking of lollipops :lollipop:, I proved the sucker for this Amusing Hobby T-72M1 w/interior and I’m not a fan of interior kits.

BTW - Kali didn’t show the slightest interest in this order…
