What the postman brought today (Armorama)

Just don’t buy the BoldDivision T1E1 if you want an accurate model.

Many thanks for the warning.
:+1:
I was thinking about the Bold Division kit before this new one turned up.

What is wrong with the Bold Division kit? I have neither kit but curious in case one becomes available for a cheap price now.

There’s a build of the BD kit here that explains some issues: (493) M32B1 Tank Recovery Vehicle with T1E1 Mine Exploder - Missing-Lynx (tapatalk.com)

The fun starts on p3…

Thanks! Did not know that existed. I don’t do resin and it is 4 times the price so there was never a danger. :slightly_smiling_face: The new one in plastic that many people recently purchased is the one I want. Yesterday, Squadron showed two dozen in stock. I suspect the purchasing agent for that company should have ordered many hundreds of them.

A few days before I found out Pig Models were going to release one in plastic, I was considering ordering the one from Lanmo. I’m glad I decided to postpone the decision. I completely ignored the one from BoldDivision because of my experiences with their T1E1.

Thanks for linking to that, saves me blowing my own trumpet  In short: you can use the basic shapes of the forks that hold the discs, you can use the discs if you bore bigger holes in them, and … that’s about it :frowning: My build stalled because of the chore of figuring out how to fit the hexagonal beam (for which you can’t use the BD part either) to the hull, and a lack of motivation for building the plates with bolts on the ends of the forks that hold the axle. I’ve been wanting to draw those bits up in a CAD program to have them 3D-printed too, but haven’t got round to it yet. Too much else I want to build, and don’t get round to …

I got this lovely kit from my even lovelier lady
Not a bad deal either: you get 2 trucks and 6 figures in the box… Oh, and a extra set of ammo boxes with contents…

Took advantage of Andy’s Father’s Day sale. Can’t get enough British armor or German half tracks. Picked up the Crusader Mk II and the hot pff the press Sdkfz 251/1D both from border!

Both look awesome in the box and should be fun to weather

Littorio, do you remember who you bought the DAF YT616 kit from?

@Bigred69 Ronnie I picked it up directly from Giesbers Models who had a trade stand at the show.
Black Lion Decals out of the Netherlands stock Den Bels Models although it is a new release and I didn’t see it on their website.

Nah, we use beer crates overhere… Milk is hardly ever sold in bottles and a milkman is something from a grey past!
