I built both kits. The A5 was very nice. Might be photos of it somewhere on the site but can’t remember.
DV, thanks for the heads up!
I’ll try a search.
Dibs on the tracks. I found some Fruils that may interest you. The old kind that use wire. Panzer IV and Panzer 38(t). Maybe one more.
Edit: Wrong tracks, dagnabit.
that was my problem as well. I wasn’t about to drop $20 plus shipping for one of Anthony’s CD.
Ha, like your avatar “I am the liquor”, RIP Mr. Lahey.
Do I see an IDF armor coming down the pipeline?
There is indeed a Merk 4 in the queue for the IDF 76 campaign …
Just found that Bronco quality control did a bad job. They included an incorretly moulded
sprue.
Need to contact Bronco a.s.a.p. about this matter.
Thats very poor quality control
Do you mean to say they still exist, then?
Are the poorly moulded parts all fins, like the four on the second sprue? Because if so, they’re about the easiest bits to scratchbuild that I see on there. Use the properly moulded kit parts on the fins at the top and on the missiles on the outsides and make replacements from some plastic card for the fins on the underside of the inner missiles.
There are 7 out of 16 fins missing
I am sure that I can rebuild them, but on the other hand, I paid good money for the kit.
Seven out of sixteen is a bit much to hide, I’d say. But if I were you I’d keep it in the back of my mind anyway, given the poor availability of Bronco kits in recent years.
I think there’s worse to come; from what I recall there’s no actual canvas for the folding cover for the missiles/launcher - just the frames.
Brian, you are correct.
An avelanche of 3D parts from PRC to make my braille builds as detailed as any 1/35 replica.
Yao’s Studio (SS Model) 1/72 M1 and T-55 parts via eBay:
Best Resin 1/72 M1 Trophy conversion (x2)
Turbo Studio 1/72 M1A1 HC conversion
These last two officially in the hard to find category. I bought them off China’s Taobao marketplace via a Taobao buyer (Parcel Up) which turned out to be surprisingly easy.
Reminds me of the PC game minesweeper.
