The people at Sprue Brothers run a tight ship.

Not realy a kit or anything model relayed, but a nice example why I get so few things done in summer. New small carry bag for tackle.

I’ve never gone camping, boating, or hiking with a model in my pack. A model was in the baggage for the last lake house vacation.

Don’t bring a model camping! I had an experience with a set of Fruil tracks and a forest floor that ended in complete disaster.

Is that for carp fishing?

I was out Saturday morning. Only caught myself, had 2 treble hook lure get hung in the trees, yanked free and flew back at me. Hit me in the left shoulder/chest but luckily only hook my shirt and not my skin. My buddy caught one bass and two probables. One shook free at the boat and the other shook free and flew over the boat.

Mine came this weekend as well, I wish I’d known that there were enough parts to build the normal Hetzer; I’d have bought two at that price.
Fast and reliable shipping from Sprue Bros, as always.

Carp, catfish and sturgeon. I lucked out, but my wife caught two catfish and one sturgeon on bottom rod on her last trip. The last carp ripped the 10 kg leader right off.

I tried carp fishing once. Different here than catfish, I try fishing for bass but it’s fun when catching and frustrating when not. Looks like it will get cooler sooner so back on the water again. I usually take three rod with me set up each for cats, bass and pan fish like crappie or blue gill. Want to catch something that is not turtles or tree branches.

Just received this from the postman. Although, I already have this in my collection but for $30 I could resist. Crazy part is theee is a sticker on top right for $119. Now, I love IDF subjects but there is no way on Gods green earth I’d pay $119 for it even if it’s the only game in town.

FOMO struck hard and with all US stockiest I use either being out or more than direct with shipping I got this and few other things to make shipping worth it.

I think the hunters and a concrete block hunting cabin/hunting blind might go together well. Got the set for the fisherman but the girl is the odd duck in the set.

Since the adapter of my 30 odd years old Proxxon electric drill passed away last week, I had to buy a new one. Luckily the old drill still can be powered by the new adapter.

Added this from a fellow member off eBay. I didn’t think $30 shipped was too bad

Have wanted it for a while but couldn’t find it for a good price. Have a dio in mind with it being towed by an M2A1 half track

Not the postman but these followed me home from the model show in Switzerland last weekend. Don’t know how good or bad the kits are but for 15 CHF each at the flea market I can’t go wrong … :slightly_smiling_face:
