What the postman brought today (Armorama)

That is more styrene stock than my local LHS has :stuck_out_tongue:

@petbat Thats the stuff that came in today. There is more in the stash.

@Dan That is a great kit and super fun . Once you get past all the suspension it is smooth going.

Ouch. That resonates too true. I picked up a pack of styrene at the local train place and when I bought it the proprietor asked me if that was the last pack of it on the shelf. I said, “yes,” and thought - “you keep track of what’s there? I can’t tell by what you have left…” Maybe I should just blame it on covid…

Not posted but picked this up, along with some paints. Still have the viper to finish but this will be next up on the bench. Kit looks nice, my first Meng build too…

Very nice Jim, was it from AMS ? I have my small order ready to go. This Leo A7 is on my list of ones to get so will be following the build when it starts :+1:

Yeah John, £42 from AMS, which is a bargain methinks. And I got a 10% discount for being such a good customer! They still have them in stock too. I have also put in my request for the Amusing Hobby Swedish Army Centurian strv104 and the Takom M60A1 w-era and dozer blade when they come out.

Also noticed they have the HK models 1/48th Lancaster, which I am very tempted with too!

Oh and happy new furry family member!!

Thanks Chris @Chris_Bryan , I’ll be starting a thread soon…

Cheers, Jim.

Because I could have a 15€ reduction on it, I got that one (planning on doing it as a what if who surrendred to the ally)

This one is all @SSGToms fault and his post for fast shipping for Gunprimer tools. :joy: The circle cutter was bonus, as I was looking for one and the shop (US distributor for Gunprimer) had one.

Another nice item I got this week, Danger Close Dioramics Pacific Beach base. I had added the Dragon Tarawa flamethrower figure for scale and I am thinking about adding one or two more from the set.

Ryan you are going to love that Sand Loop 4 set! The Mini Handle sands things perfectly flat, and the paper lasts a long time.

If you haven’t opened it yet, do be careful when doing so. The Revell end-flap box isn’t very sturdy and there are quite a few very thin parts in that kit that may go snappity-snap. Other than that it is a rebox of a very good ICM kit. I see this kit calls out tri-color vehicles while ICM featured several gray schemes.

Sweet indeed.

By all accounts the ICM/Revell version is very nice. If only they made the earlier Type 1/1a … after all the work I did on correcting Tamiya’s, my second one is on the bottom of the stash to build list…
