What are the issues with it ?

Have to compare it with my favorite Tamiya kit. Will give my insights later.

For the Leopard 2A8 check parts A22 and A15 are intact.
Here in the UK I have bought 2 and the above parts were broken in the box.
The hobby store checked their stock to see if the could send me a replacement A sprue and all were broken.
They asked the UK importers and all and all of theirs were broken as well.
So in the end I just got a refund.

Having finished that same T-54 B kit last month.
you did pick a great kit. Superb.
You’ll have fun. I had no issues with it.

Damn… my last MBK order… I had no cool mousepads…

Yay!

  • First impression: a bit over-engineered. Lots of parts- especially the indi tracks.

  • Planning to use the set as a template for my 3D CAD projects.

Is Magic Factory on the ball, or what? With the M10, the M2A4 M-SHORAD Bradley and the M7 BFIST we are getting the model before the troops get the real thing! This is unheard of in modeling! Times were when a new vehicle would come out, and we would wail and moan (and scratchbuild our asses off) for a kit of said vehicle for years, sometimes decades, before a kit appeared, if ever. We thought the 2000’s were the Golden Age of armor modeling, truly with 3D priinting added, that Golden Age is now.

Well, to be honest, only the top box received today (courtesy of a fast boat from China); the lower box was already in the stash.

These are my go-to figures for half-decent post War early Bundeswehr, and Bundesgrenzschutz representations, so a tip for what it’s worth(!)

They will still need a bit of work on pockets and replacement heads to taste, but at least there’s a basis here. That is, if there’re any aspiring early Bundeswehr and BGS modellers out there other than me(!)

Not a kit I grant you but for what it’s worth:

I thought I might cheer myself up - not(!)

I’ve already dipped into it a bit - looks like a helluva read; probably not for the faint-hearted.

Thanks for the trade, @ttwells. :+1:

Ooh! That Booker kit will yield a lot of good measuring for making 3D parts for it. If you don’t do it, at least it’ll put a lot of files on Cults3D for it.

A shipment from Poland arrived this morning:

I keep at least 2 Kl. Floßsack 34 in my stash, so it was time for replenishment.
And having planed to build one of the 3D printed kits I own, I ordered some VMS CA glues and debonder.

Cheers,
Angel

I liked that kit when I built it earlier this year. The figures are probably the best I’ve ever seen in plastic. Only too bad Tamiya didn’t quite replicate the real tank 215 correctly
