A wolf…
…in a sheeps cloth
So that’s really a thing? They actually banned Tamiya spray cans in Canada? I thought that was just a silly internet rumor. I wonder how much I can make smuggling them across the border…
Not modelling but somehow military
The only reason I use them is I’m danged if I can get a good matt finish using the bottled version in an airbrush. Got these 3 and half a ‘can now so I’m good for awhile.
Blew a light coat over this yesterday.
ETA Rattlecan version that is.
Not from the postman, but from my recent trip to the LHS.
I blame “Workshop Wednesdays” for my recent obsession with the Panzerspähwagen.
Good luck with the Antonov… I hope their 1:144 kits are better than 1:72nds …
That’s a little Tamyia gem … great kit as I remember !
Arrived today at my doorstep … I do have a soft spot for all these MAN Kat.1 mil gl trucks, as I drove one for 3 years.
This 7 t gl is with MSA, so it will become a GECON ISAF truck, once it’s on the bench …
I also have the older Revell 7 t gl without MSA but with canvas, that will become an ordinary Bundeswehr truck in NATO 3-tone camo. Later … much later …
Too often, I’ve found myself having to make discs of sizes I had no good tools for, so the other day I decided to do something about that problem:
It is definitely the heaviest modelling tool I ever purchased, though:
Impressive ! Who makes this ?
Jakko,
I think you’ll need to reinforce your bench!
Cheers,
Angel
That’s one hell of a punch set. Where did you get it?
No idea, I got it off Amazon (see the post above this one), but it’s listed a lot of times from what appear to be different sellers at different prices, so look before buying the first one you see — search for disc cutter set
.
The one I bought was listed for about €57, and €3 postage got added on top, but for some reason it didn’t tell me, Amazon then deducted about €11.50. Not cheap, and not something I would urge anyone to buy for making the odd disc a couple of times a year, but I’ve often enough found myself needing to make discs larger than my Historex Agents (up to 3.9 mm) and RP Toolz (up to 2.0 mm) punch-and-die sets can handle, that I felt it was worth the expense. Also, another way to look at it is that €50 or so can buy you either this tool or another kit, and only one of the two will likely actually get used
The 109 had an armor plate in the cockpit behind the pilot, so everything’s fine for me, Ed! But you can also show this in the Aeroscale part.

Some extra goodies when you order from Modellbau Koenig.
