Thank you for sharing the link Glenn.
Alright; Good News - Bad News.
GOOD NEWS:
The RFM M1 ABV kit I bought on eBay came in yesterday.
BAD NEWS:
The kit was incomplete. The seller did not disclose that on the auction, and I ended up with only 3/4 of the kit, plus some extra parts from Tamiya and Academy thrown in.
The seller scavenged the kit for all the M1A1-specific parts, along with the entire P Sprue, which is the entirety of the mine rake…
Luckily, @tanknick22 came to my rescue and helped me out with some parts off his spares box (Thanks Nick ), but I am still short a couple parts other than the mine rake, mainly the belly plate (part K1).
Lessor learned - never trust eBay sellers with generic item descriptions.
Serves me right.
Can’t you get your money back from ebay? If he didn’t disclose the kit was incomplete, that’s fraud.
I could, but then re-boxing it and sending it back, shipping such a large box would not be worth the hassle.
Meh! I’ll build it and figure out a way to get the rake - I’ll send Ryefield Models an e-mail, see if they will hook me up with a new parts tree. If not, I will be in the market for the dozer blade off the M1A1 FEP and use that instead.
So! If anyone has the dpozer blade in their spares box and doesn;t mind parting with it, LMK.
I will be posting a build thread on this one. I will also be in search for parts if I don;t find them in my kit. I am happy that @tanknick22 helped me out with an O sprue and an E Sprue, which greatly helps out, but If I don’t find a particular part, I will appreciate everyone’s help on gathering RFM parts.
My personal promise to everyone - I WILL MAKE THIS BUILD WORK. I made the hand-me-down T-90A build work and the M1IP build work; I WILL MAKE THIS OEN WORK AS WELL.
Bought one of these a few months back. Regret to say, I haven’t taken it out for a test drive yet.
Ive got the mine plow, from a Trumpeter M1 of 20 years back. You’re welcome to that if you want it.
Let me see if i have any of the Marine specific parts

I also had these two Sheperd Paine diorama tip sheets arrive today to add to the collection.
Iwata’s sweet airbrush cleaning kit arrived. White & blue LED magnifer to spot needle & cone issues plus other items.
Those used to be available on a web site, but that’s since disappeared. I posted them to Missing-Lynx earlier this year.
Two club (IPMS/AMPS) meetings (Sun/Mon) gift exchange haul. Can you guess which set I got at which meeting correctly?

I’m sure the title should take a question mark; should it not?
