The T-Rex tracks look awesome when built, but I found some minor drilling of the end connectors was needed occasionally as they were under sized and if you try to force them, they will break. Maybe the resin shrinks over time, but once put together they look the part.
It arrived, the kit to go with the decals posted earlier in the week.
Now to find out which muzzle brake was used by the Italians.
It’s okay Wade, the Sherman Sheriff can grant you clemency from the Panzer Police (we won).
If that Zvezda T-62’s kit number begins with a 35- or 36- you’re really going to enjoy it. Guaranteed.
Matt, thank you! One never turns down clemency.
Yes, its comrade 3676!
My impression is it’s a trillion Times & Tums better than the jurassic era Tamiya kit and I like the way the Zveda kit looks better than my Trumpeter one. Have a set of Sector35’s set aside for 3676.

AHHQ was running a sale for Victoria Day, picked this guy up for $45 CAD. Have some ideas for a possible load for it
To me it would look good with a western donated AFV, but I think you would have to be careful of the load as I personally would have no idea what that could pull?
According to Wikipedia it has a road towing capacity of 33 tons. So I believe any AFV/IFV up to a Bradley would be plausible.
My initial thought was to put the new AFV club YPR 765 as the load. Show it as a new vehicle being delivered to the front line motor pool
The 2s19 on the trailer is 42 ton, which means it should be around 50 ton carriage, at a guess ,with newer tanks around 48 tons all up.
You will find it indispensable. I use mine almost on every bench session.
Brad, I appreciate the heads up. I checked clearance on several end connects & the center link. So far the end connectors seem OK but every guide tooth seems to need the two holes reamed slightly.
@Armorsmith DV, your great looking build was some of the key inspiration for the purchase ![]()
I’d buy this just as a piece of sculpture!
Not the postman, because I went to a TWENOT (Dutch Armour Association) club meeting today and bought this:
Postie dropped off two parcels today.
Continuing with my Western/other nations Cold War theme to counter my Soviet/Warsaw Pact I added these.
If you intend to build that AMX-13 as a Dutch vehicle, then beware it has a bunch of details wrong for that, including the tracks ![]()
Thanks for the info, is there a correction set or details on what needs doing to make it correct for a Dutch AMX?
