What the postman brought today (Armorama)

For the interior of American APCs and IFVs? I think it’s called that sometimes. The FS number is 24533, so you could look for that, too.

Brian, I think the Officer in the third pic down appears to have dislocated his knee joint…….

I’ve finished that one a few months ago.

The Tristar kit has better tracks than the HobbyBoss reboxed.

It’s a great kit to work on, with some patience you’ll do a great job with these early Panzers.

Recently bought AFV clubs M41 walker bulldog. Was really impressed with the detail and quality for an older kit. Saw they also made the M42 duster (which I know almost nothing about) but find it fascinating. With how impressed I was with the M41 I decide to also add the M42. It is also beautiful in the box but will be a much more complex build

Some massive parcel today. The SU-122-54 box is pretty huge.

The BTR40 is on my wish list but the price of it seems to have gone through the roof since the Ukraine war started.

Cool kits.

The BTR is a well made kit, quite an easy kit. The Su-122-54 I haven’t started it yet.

I had these two titles arrive from Casemate Publishers. These book reviews keep me quite busy.

Not exactly armor/AFV, but I’ve kind of wanted that Goalkeeper kit ever since I first saw it  Then added some paint (one I needed anyway, one for the Goalkeeper) and also clear resin (the tin at lower left) for the quayside that’s been on hold for want of a good way to make the water’s surface. I’ve never used casting resin before, so I will definitely be doing a little test first. The thing at bottom right is a tool I didn’t know existed, but it looks like it might be useful for some of the work I often end up doing on models.

We went to Scale Model Challenge in Veldhoven, The Netherlands today. It was, as always, an excellent show with lots of traders from all over the world. Though biased towards figures a lot of vehicles of all sorts can be found.

This is our catch of the day…

Not a panzer!

It is time to explore the way of the samurai.

Now I just need a bunch of 1/35 scale guys wielding katanas because we all know that katanas are the best anti-everything weapon in existence.

Almost, almost Saladin-ish.
