What the postman brought today (Armorama)

Just received, so I’ll be able to go on the diorama.

I’ve seen a few offerings like this now. Is the idea that you just cut out rough shapes and just patch them on as you go? I’m curious to see your end product Nacho. For the figure averse like me this might me an interesting option to getting some humans into scenes.

Late birthday presents!

Another kit I’ve been eyeballing for a while now. Had to slow boat this one from China, but looks like it’ll be worth the wait. Kit looks reasonably well made despite some of the reviews regarding their earlier productions.

I will say though the instructions look interesting to say the least.

I think this one will be going to the bottom of the stash until I’m feeling in the mood for a committed build.

Which is interesting, since Mirror is a Irish company.

I guess that’s the idea, cut pieces that fits more or less (in a leg, chest…) and lot of Micro Set. I’m going to try on a figure that has to be repainted because the camo went too dark. This figure specifically:

I guess that I’d have to make many cuts with the scalpel to fit the knee pads, sleeves and so. I’ll post pictures of the making of as soon as I begin with it.

A few post xmas orders arrived this week. Really enjoy the Tasca/Asuka shermans! The M32B1 book is for the Tasca kit. The Scammell book for my numerous Thunder Model kits.

After visiting a DIY-retailer today, I brought home a selection of wooden profiles:

They’ll come handy when arranging the load for the Büssing NAG 4500S truck I recently acquired.

Cheers,
Angel

Ive got that one - the AFV Club kit, mine has the 3t crane. Its not an easy build for sure.

That’s the Kfz.100, Chris!

I have the same AFV kit and consider it the cherry on top of the cake

My BN 4500S comes from IBG and I’ll build it within the tribute to our late buddy Robert Jan/ Speedy J.

Robert started this kit 3 years ago but got unhappy about its shortcommings very quickly and abandoned it for the AFV Club offering.

Will walk in his steps and will try to get a reasonable result in his memory,

Cheers,
Angel

Not exactly, Erwin

That’s the one:

Nice truck BTW!

Look pretty much the same. Differences must be mostly under the hood, I suppose… Please do keep in mind, that the triangle on the cabin roof was only up when towing trailers and was yello with a black outline…

Thanks. The only real hassle I found was the lack of room for a driver. I had to amputate the whole lower body to get one in…

There were some visible differences too, but basically the same truck.

Lucky me- the Anhaengerdreieck was not used in the Kingdom of Bulgaria.

To the best of my knowledge(Einheitsdiesel and Bedford QLD built)- IBG kits usually come with the added value of trimming, corrections and modifications to make them look like

Had my Nag some years ago (sort of.)
Vac-formed cab with scratch built frame and load box. (Lots of Blitz parts used here.
Still planning on finishing one day - just recently received new resin replacement wheels/tires.

Ordered on Amazon and arrived only 49 days later! All in good condition but the packaging was unexpected. I tossed the candy. I eat enough junk. I put the box into proper configuration and all is well.

Well, the postman didn’t bring me anything, but I did go to my local hobby shop and purchase a few things yesterday.
