Does this set include the six figures in the box art as well?
Sure does. Two motorbikes, six humans and a very tiny kitten!
Here you go…
Also includes a jig for the PE wheel spokes.

OK, yeah, I’ll be getting this kit as well.
Why do I do this? Another fleabay find!
£14 and 3D printed. If this goes well, I’ll think about the 1/16 offerings as well. Has anyone tried them?

B&L Models ‘Once Upon a Time’ figure set (3 motorbikes and 6 figures) arrived from Vietnam today. Took a while to make the journey, but well worth the wait.

I’ll try to followup with better pics as I clip parts from their cages. So far, these look amazing! — high quality, nicely detailed 3D prints! Great customer service too. Highly recommended!

[EDIT: June 4, 2025]
As promised, here’s a small follow-up on two of the three motorbikes included in the set — a partial dry-fit for now.
The 3D print quality is outstanding with really exquisite detail! And parts removal from their print supports was easy — even for me. Just had to be aware not to damage some super tiny parts.

sorry but to be precise it is not a Piaggio Vespa 125cc but it is a Lambretta, the antagonist of Piaggio
@ Vicious.
Ooops.
Thanks for the correction. I revised the caption accordingly.

This is a very impressive figure, Gary, it will be a wonderful adition to your display cabinet. But how come 1/24 scale?
Mario
To be honest mate, I’m trying to use scales like 1/24, 1/18 etc. as a sort of bridge to get me back to 1/35, if that makes sense? I’m slowly but steadily getting back to a decent standard and hopefully, should be posting again soon. I picked this figure up for less than 1/2 of the rrp so, very happy about that. I’m a bit less happy that manufacturers are tending to print figures with all of their gear attached though. This one has 5 printed parts and 3 tripod legs cast in resin. The torso has the arms and rifle printed as one piece. I have noticed that some other manufacturers, such as Live Resin are doing similar things. Not particularly a fan of this approach as it can make the figure very difficult to paint.
All the best,
G.
I know what you mean… hope to see it painted soon.
As for the casting it all in one piece, I don’t really mind the equipment, but arms and weapon together with the torso… Ouch.
Mario
Here’s a pic of the parts.
As you can see, the painting is going to be challenging. For me, the build will be as well. All the resin parts, I’ll be swapping out with more robust brass rods and wire. Anytime I get within 10 feet of thin resin parts these days, you can guarantee there will be a lot more parts than when I started!

Morning chaps. Grey army building here but, I’d just like to give a shout out to Hobbyeasy.
Ordered on the 25th and in my hand first thing this morning! All the way from Hong Kong.
Just a little rant as well, I see these recasted all the time on AliExpress for anything between £5-7. This figure(genuine) cost just over £10! Seriously, why bother with recasts? The quality of this figure is, to be honest, fantastic! Just buy the original. Rant over.

Received these today from ‘Green Stuff World.’
‘Blossom Tufts – 6mm Yellow Flowers’
They’ll do nicely to add a splash of color to what I’ve got planned. ![]()

Just got this modern hunter figure found on AliExpress. When I saw it, I thought it would pair well with one of the new-ish vintage Land Rover from Gecko Models to depict a caricatural old-school British hunting party.
Overall, the figure looks pretty good, except for the rifles: those are severely warped and seem too thin for this scale anyways. It will probably be replaced by one from the AKI “Hunting and Hiking” figure box.
It almost looks as if the dog has been slaughtered!
Ahah, yes, I noticed it right after I posted
