I’m not sure that I understand the question.
Does your images get posted with the date changed to todays date but in 2024?
Do You want to to set the date as one year ago?
Sorry for not getting back to you I was very unwell ![]()
I managed to post today but still when I got to post a reply goes racing back towards the start of the the topic ![]()

What equipment are you using?
Phone, tablet or computer?
So that’s what you mean
This seems to have been caused by a recent update to the forum software, because it didn’t do that for me before but it does now on my iPad, though not on my Mac (that’s not running the latest OS or browser version). Somewhat annoying because long topics take a good while to get to the top, and the upper part (above the blue bar at the top of the reply) doesn’t respond to scrolling at all as long as the reply is open.
A new iPad A16
They are aware of this scrolling bug and apparently it’s been fixed. I may need to do a rebuild of the software (as I am already using the latest release). I can do that tomorrow. Sorry for the trouble but at least it looks like that one should be fixed soon.
I didn’t look for the date image issue. Honestly I am not even sure what that means. What date?
Thanks for the update
Hi Jim, just tried the Aeroscale postman thread from my iPhone 17 Pro max with the latest OS and that thread jumps all over the place when you try and post anything. One minute I’m looking at a post from 2024 then 2021 then 2023 all while trying to type and post a link. It is really painful just trying to type one word as you see the text box start typing then the box disappears and you see part of a thread then the text box reappears you get half the word you are trying to type then the text box disappears again and so on.
I use a workaround for this issue. I scroll to the top of the thread before hitting the reply button. A bit cumbersome but gets the job done.
I did the update to the most current version of Discourse. Refresh your browser and see if that fixed it.
Yay. It’s working normally now for me. Thanks a bunch @staff_Jim
