Excellent job on that figure! What color did you use on the uniform?

Thanks, it is a mix from Scale75 Pale earth SW-34 and Graugrun SW-07.

Nice to see your progress in these photos Venelin- impeccable shading work on the main colors of the uniform. You have also picked out the equipment with great precision.

Turning out to be another classic figure Venelin. :+1:

I have an idea for small diorama, but will think about several variants.

Very nice, well done!

The high magnification shows the color transitions being a bit sharp… perhaps a filter of some kind to tie the colors more? Just a thought…

I could apply very thin coat of filter, yes.

Thanks for the input!

I almost forgot to add slightly more reddish tone on the boots and satin varnish over them.

I’m eyeing that kit for a Normandy 44 diorama with the paratroopers (will not use the trailer), will it be accurate for that period? The other options are the Tamiya and Meng kits.

For a US paratrooper jeep in Normandy '44, the Takom kit out of the box (or any of the others you list) is correct. US paras used a basic jeep with no mods. Brit paras modified their jeeps quite a bit.

Thanks! It seems like a nice kit and is available in my preferred shop, so I will grab one for sure.
