Large size piece of XPS foam I bought for only £6.49.
It measures 1200x1200x30mm ideal for model ship diorama, there’s enough there to make 3 1/350 ship dioramas.
I placed a normal size A4 piece next to it that cost me about £5 on its own.
Sorry got measurements wrong 600x600x30mm.
Still well worth it.
Where did you get it? Most home improvement stores sell 4’ x 8’ sheets of the stuff for cheap. The tough part is getting it home!

Bring or buy a box cutter and cut in half and half again if needed to fit your size vehicle.
Only need to cut a third of the thickness and then it can be snapped along the cut ..
A buddy of mine has a construction company and always has excess and scrap pieces, so I can always get some if I need it. Wayne
There is construction site nearby, so I got a lot of different pieces they will scrap anyway.
